Our Adventure Has Begun
Welcome to the Pear Tree Candle Co.

We launched at the end of Spring 22, with the aim of creating and selling craft candles, using responsible ingredients in a range of exciting scents. Now 3 months into our adventure here's what we have achieved so far.
When we launched we offered what we considered at the time to be a manageable 4 scents. A decision that ultimately helped us get off the ground and gave our customers a limited but varied choice. We have to admit at this point we were blown away by the support that we were shown as we launched, from the orders we received, the feedback we had, and the social media platform you have helped to build.

Now 3 months in we have added additional container options to the range as well as a number of extra scents (a list that keeps on growing). Our choice of new scents, often guided by social media polls, has lead us to some absolute gems that we may not have otherwise gone with, in particular our newest cocktail scents, Pina Colada and Passion Fruit Martini. As we progress through the summer and into the Autumn there will undoubtedly be more scents added into the range and we are already planning ahead for some very exciting Christmas candles.
Finally our biggest issue at launch was stock, as a start up its difficult to know what to make, how many to make and the largest factor of course how to fund it. We are now super pleased to be in a position where we do have some stock of most scents and most containers, this allows us to fulfil orders in a much quicker time frame. Whilst some products are still made to order, we are getting there, and hopefully by our next update we will be fully stocked.

So where next, at this stage we still haven't launched our monthly subscription service or our container recycling scheme. But it will come and there are some updates on this below.
Our monthly subscription service may not yet be live, but there are plans in the pipeline for it. At present we are hoping to launch this new service in January ready for the start of the year.
Secondly our plans for container recycling, at present these are a little further behind, but it is still a plan for the future. We have carried out some trials on our own jars, and the principle of reusing works, we just need to refine the process of tying it with orders and manufacture. This is something that will happen in the future so keep yours eyes peeled.
Finally, a message of thanks, without our customers and supporters we wouldn't have a business. We hope that the next 3 months brings as much excitement as the first 3, and growth continues on the trend so far.
